1. Who we are
PortaLonja ("PortaLonja", "we", "us") provides a deal-operations platform for commodity exporters, producers, brokers, and traders. These terms govern your access to and use of the PortaLonja web application and related services (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these terms.
2. The service
PortaLonja is a subscription software-as-a-service product that lets exporters, producers, brokers, and traders manage deals, documents, shipments, tasks, communications, and related operations in one workspace. We may add, change, or remove features over time to improve the Service.
3. Accounts and eligibility
The Service is intended for business use by professionals in commodity trade. You must provide accurate account information, keep your login credentials secure, and be authorized to act on behalf of the organization you register. You are responsible for all activity that happens under your account.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service for any unlawful purpose, not to interfere with or disrupt the Service, and not to attempt to reverse-engineer, resell, or gain unauthorized access to it. The data you enter remains yours; you are responsible for ensuring you have the right to process it.
5. Term and termination
Your subscription term and the commercial conditions that go with it are agreed with us in writing before the Service starts. Nothing renews automatically: we contact you ahead of the next term and you decide whether to continue. Either party may choose not to continue at the end of a term.
6. Your data and confidentiality
You own the content and data you put into the Service. We process it to provide the Service and in accordance with our privacy notice, and we treat it as confidential. We do not sell your data.
7. Availability and support
We work to keep the Service available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance, and we may suspend access where necessary to protect the Service or comply with the law.
8. Disclaimers and liability
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. PortaLonja is a tool to organize your operations; it is not legal, financial, tax, or trade-compliance advice, and you remain responsible for your own decisions and obligations. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the fees you paid for the Service in the twelve months before the claim.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the Service evolves. If we make a material change, we will give reasonable notice. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
